Angel Tree

Local Opportunities

You have many opportunities to make a difference in the lives of offenders and their families throughout the year.

Going Beyond Christmas with Angel Tree – Angel Tree doesn’t end with Christmas. For you and your church, the first Christmas connection can be the beginning of a rewarding ongoing relationship with local “Angels” and their families. Get involved and continue your Angel Tree ministry throughout the year and God will use your church to help these children and their families grow in their faith, strengthen their relationships with imprisoned parents and fulfill the purposes that God has for their lives. Through your activities, He may transform your life, too.

Volunteering inside the Prison – Join one of our many ministry teams and go beyond the walls of the prison to share the love of Christ with offenders. Many opportunities exist for you, including discussion group leaders, seminar instructors, tutors, coaches and prayer warriors.

Volunteering in the Community – One of the most difficult transitions is from prison to back into the community. No matter how much they are transformed while in prison, men and women still find it tough to make it “on the outside” – without a team of people to walk alongside of them. Join one of our many re-entry teams that are working to build a network of resources to help an offender and his family.

Behind the Scenes – Our ministry support center is always looking for people who can work at either home or in our office to help with all the behind-the-scenes work needed to make this ministry function. Volunteers can work as phone operators, general administrative assistants, data entry associates and in many other positions.
