Michael: Call Him ‘Dad”

Through Angel Tree, my family has experienced a miracle!

My 13-year-old son is autistic and there are a lot of things in life he does not understand.  But one thing he does understand is when someone’s love is genuine. 

During the Angel Tree party, it was the first time that I have ever been able to give him and my 16-year-old-daughter a gift straight from my hands to theirs.  When I presented him with his gifts, for the first time ever he called me “Dad.”   You will never know how much that word meant coming from his mouth, straight to my heart.
